Welcome to the Love Lino Lakes Community Page.

Recently, several developments have been proposed within the Lino Lakes community that would change what many of us love about living in this city. The quiet, rural, and open nature of Lino Lakes which drew many of us here, is under threat. This page is designed to inform and educate residents about the proposed projects and their potential effects on our community.

Colorful Traffic Jam Illustration

How these developments affect Lino Lakes

Being one of the most densely populated neighborhoods in the city this would bring a large increase to traffic on already busy major roads such as Sunset Ave, Main St and Lake Drive.

Illustration of a Speeding Fire Engine

Being a high density populated area also puts a strain on local public safety such as firefighters and police, which are already in short supply

Water Tank in Tower Fill Style Icon

Lino Lakes has numerous water issues in both quality and quantity. We are currently under strict water restrictions. A high density development would further strain the water supply

Handdrawn Organic School

Most of this development is in the Centennial school district that is already underfunded and average class sizes around 30 students. Can the district handle and influx of 1200-1500 new students?
